An Evening with Baxter Black at the Carson Valley Inn
Baxter Black, America's premier cowboy humorist, will appear in the Valley Ballroom at the Carson Valley Inn on Thursday, May 2 as a kickoff to the 2013 Genoa Cowboy Festival.
Tickets for the May 2 concert are $30 and may be purchased now at the Carson Valley Inn Hotel Desk or by phone. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m. A special overnight package is available for May 2 including a hotel room for the night plus 2 Baxter Black show tickets for $119 per couple (plus tax). In keeping with the Cowboy Festival theme, Sourdough Slim will perform with Robert Armstrong in the Carson Valley Inn Cabaret Lounge (free) after Baxter's show in the Valley Ballroom.
The Carson Valley Inn (www.carsonvalleyinn.com) is located on US Hwy 395 in Minden, NV near the start of State Hwy 88, twenty minutes from Lake Tahoe's south shore and 45 minutes south of Reno.
