CARING FOR A LOVED ONE WITH ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE OR DEMENTIA
The purpose of this class is to inform caregivers how to care for a loved one suffering from Alzheimer's disease or dementia, as well as to handle common behaviors associated with the disease,
After completing this module, participants should: Understand and know how to deal with the common behaviors associated with Alzheimer's disease or Dementia; Understand how to provide care for a loved one with Alzheimer's or Dementia including daily activities such as bathing and eating; and, be able to recognize the signs of depression and understand that a person who cares for someone with Alzheimer's disease or Dementia is at risk for depression.
