Gross Margin Tax Luncheon

Description

The Gross Margin Tax Initiative will be on the November ballot in 2014. The most basic explanation is that it would impose 2% tax on gross revenue of companies that earn REVENUE of more than 1 million dollars. While there would be some deductions available, this tax could be devastating to Nevada businesses.

At this luncheon, Carole Vilardo of the Nevada Taxpayers Association; Joshua Hicks, attorney with Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schrek and Chris Nielsen, Executive Director of the Nevada Department of Taxation will serve on a panel to explain the tax, the process, what is being done by business across the state to fight it and how you can get involved and help.
